General hospital and GP services are full and easily accessed; while there are a number of complementary health options, ranging from acupuncture and aromatherapy massage to nutrionist advice and relexology.

Many people move to this area because of it ideal environment for family life. There is a childcare database, supplied by Highland Council, which can be accessed to discover the specific childcare provision in the region, and even within particular districts of the city of Inverness and the area's towns.
