Inverness

Inverness is the capital city of the Highlands
of Scotland, and one of the fastest growing cities in the whole of the UK and even Europe.

It lies at the northern end of the Great Glen,
on the shores of the Moray Firth. It is a great base for visits to the world famous Loch Ness which is a mere ten minute drive away, as well as such historic sites as Culloden Battlefield and Urquhart Castle.

There has never been a better time to live and work in the city as it continues to thrive on a wide range of business and social levels. Public administration; healthcare; retail services; and business services are key economic sectors,
as are tourism, manufacturing, forestry and agriculture.

The city is home to an ever-growing list of leading UK and international companies; the lowest crime rates in the country; suberb leisure facilities; and is situated at the heart of some of the most spectacular scenery to be found anywhere.

There are huge opportunities for companies and individuals to realise many of their ambitions on professional and personal levels.

The confidence of Inverness is reflected in its increasingly recognisable brand which is supported by HIE I&EH, Highland Council and a number of other key organisations. Inverness, the city in the Highlands, is also a city on the up.
